It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ivy Bennett announce her passing on Friday, March 1st, 2013 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 70 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her son: Chris (Carol Ann); sisters: Elaine and Diane Bennett (Tony); brother: Lockie Bennett; Chris’s step-father, Joe Shannon; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents: Marjorie and Cornelius Bennett; brother: Lloyd and sister Cavell Bennett. Friends may visit St. Ann’s Chapel in Flat Bay on Sunday from 2-4 :00 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Monday, March 4th at 11:00 A.M. with Father Gerard Patry officiating, the interment to follow at the church cemetery.
