The death occurred peacefully with family by her side at Perrin’s Clinton View Lodge, Clinton, on Saturday, March 2, 2013, of Margaret Adele Smith, formerly of Victoria Street, Kensington, aged 87 years. Born in Miminegash on Jan. 27, 1926, daughter of the late Ingham and Cecelia (Ellsworth) Costain. Mother of Jackie (Rick) Gallant, Calgary; Roger (Vicky) Smith, Central Bedeque; Joanne (Kevin) Hickox, Greenvale; Lila Finlay (Brian Butler), Kensington; and Willard Smith (Donna Campbell), Spring Valley. Grandmother to nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Sister of Glen Costain, Glenwood (Theresa deceased). Sister-in-law of Lucina Costain, St. Felix (Calvin deceased); Susanne Smith (Robert Hunter), Emerald and Kathleen Smith Peticodiac, N.B. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by brothers and sisters Vivian, Marion, Ira (Lottie) Costain and Stella (Wallace) Baird. Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Ruby (Basil) Millman, Olive (Eddie) Mill, Nelson (Pauline) Smith, Edward (Verna) Smith and Alfred (Vera) Smith. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Miminegash United Church Cemetery.
