It is with deep sadness that we the family announce the passing of Fred A. Burke in Kitchener, Ont., on Feb. 14, 2013.
Born in Baleine, N.S., he was the son of the late Alex and Rose Burke.
He worked and lived in Louisbourg, then moved to Ontario to continue working for many years until his retirement.
Fred is survived by sisters, Theresa, Sydney, Helen, Dartmouth, Sadie, St. Catharines, Ont., and Marie, Main-a-Dieu; brothers, Teddy, Sydney, and Billy, Baleine.
Cremation has taken place in Ontario.
