Martha Bowness, wife of the late Gerald Bowness, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at McNair Manor in Riverview. Born in New London, P.E.I., she was the daughter of the late Marshall and Florence (Cole) Constable. Mattie is survived by her daughter Donna Stange (Russ) of Calgary and son Alan (Dianne) of Riverview, grandchildren Paul (Peggy) O'Neill, David O'Neill, Judy O'Neill, Gary (Glenda) Bowness, Connie (Mark) Steeves and David Bowness and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers Leigh and Gordon, sister Irma and great-grandchildren Sage and Shea. With respect to Mattie's wishes, there will be no visitation. A private family service will be held. Memorial donations in memory of Mattie may be made to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation, Fair Haven Funeral Home 1177 Salisbury Rd.
