It is with great sadness that the family of the late Shirley Childs announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at the age of 65 years. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Mark and 1 daughter, Ann Marie Gaudet of Stephenville, 7 sisters: Bertha Mae Carter, Mona (Patrick) Hynes, Margaret Butler, Lillian (Carter) Swyers, Marie (Philip) Young, Clara (Harold) Richardson, Phoebe (Brian) Hoskins, 1 grandson, Earl Andrew Gaudet and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Anna. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at St. James Anglican Church in Port au Port East. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, March 8th at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Port au Port East with Interment in the Anglican Cemetery in Port au Port East.
