Mildred Barlow
The death occurred at the QE II Health Sciences Centre, Halifax, N.S., on Monday, March 4, 2013, of Mildred Barlow of Wellington, aged 83 years.
Born in Wellington, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Isabel (Morrison) Ferguson.
Survived by her children, Valerie (Patrick) Connors, Halifax, N.S.; Laverne (Gordon) MacRae, Baddeck, N.S.; Blair (Verna) Barlow, Wellington; Eric Barlow (Hermine Gallant), St. Nicholas; Sheila (Leslie) Enman, Ellerslie; Gertrude (Justin) MacLellan, Wellington; Carl (Joan) Barlow, Lot 16; Catherine (John) Mitchell, Union Corner; 20 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Muriel (Roland) Millar, Shirley (Russell) Ramsay, Eleanor (Alvin) Arsenault, Claude, Eldon and Robert (Anna Mae) Barlow; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband, Lorne Barlow; daughter, Lorna Barlow; brother, Ivan Ferguson; sisters, Rena (Herbert) Bell, Ethel (Wilfred) Thompson and Mae (Winfred) Clark; sister-in-law, Gladys McNeill; and brother-in-law, Carl Barlow.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Friday, then to the Wellington United Church for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Hillside Cemetery, Wellington. Visiting hours Thursday from 6-9 p.m.
