PAYNE, ALBERT - 1927 - 2013 - Shediac, NB - Albert Payne, 85, passed away suddenly at the Dr. P. Philips Hospital in Orlando, FL, on Friday, March 8, 2013. Born in Campbellton, NB, on November 2, 1927, he was the son of the late Angus and Mary Jane (Parker) Payne. Albert is survived by his wife, Dorilla (Gallant) Payne of Shediac; one son, Paul Payne (Carmen) of Halifax, NS; one daughter, Gisèle Andersen (Dennis) of Maple Ridge, BC; one sister, Betty Hunter (Ray) of Cobourg, ON; five grandchildren, Josephine, Genevieve, Alyssa, Tyler and Kyle; also by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Harold and Arthur.
Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Sunday, March 17, 2013 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. There will be no visitation Monday morning. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mercy RC Church in Pointe-du-Chêne will be celebrated on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 11 am. A reception will follow for family and friends at the church hall. Interment will take place in St-Philippe RC Cemetery at a later date in the spring. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
