RICHARD, RITA - 1930 - 2013 - Rita Richard, 82, of Villa Providence Inc. Shediac and formerly of Saint-Paul, passed away peacefully at the Villa Providence on Tuesday, March 12th, 2013. She was married to the late Aimé Richard (1996). Born in Notre-Dame, she was the daughter of the late Zoël and the late Évangeline (Bourgeois) Melanson. She will be sadly missed by her five children; Anne Harvey (Terry) of Havelock, Alcida Jones (John) of Clairville, Marie Foster (Jon) of Long Beach, Marie-Louise Richard and Jean-Guy (Gisèle) both of Moncton, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn three sisters; Edna Richard of Moncton, Dora Melanson and Geneva Boucher both of Saint-Antoine, two brothers; Maurice of Moncton and Camille (Rita) of Shediac, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers; Gerard, Normand and Aurèle.
Visitation will be held at the Saint-Paul de Kent Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room on Friday, March 15th, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Saturday from 10 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Paul Church on Saturday March 16th, 2013 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
