SCOTT, LARRY JAMES - Peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on March 12, 2013, Mr. Larry James Scott, husband of Mrs. Yvette (Arseneault) Scott of Blacks Harbour NB. Born at St. Stephen NB on November 4, 1947, he was a son of the late Lenward “Clint” and Alberta “Betty” Scott. A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, in addition to his loving wife of 45 years, Yvette, he is survived by one son, Jamie (Nicole) Scott of Edmonton, AB, one daughter, Bambi (Jayson) Scott-Leavitt of Edmonton, AB, one chosen daughter, Trudy (Randy) Mahar and her daughter Fallon of Kelowna, BC, one grandson, Tanner Leavitt of Edmonton, AB, one bother, Marvin (Tracy) Scott of Blacks Harbour, NB, one sister, Carol (Eddie) Hatt of Pennfield, NB and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Prior to retirement, Larry worked as a Machine Operator and a Maintenance Mechanic in the Can and Cover Division for Connors Bros in Blacks Harbour. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Larry was a genuine handyman who could often be found fixing anything that needed it. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Resting at the Blacks Harbour Wesleyan Church, Blacks Harbour, NB from where the service will be held on Friday at 2 pm. The interment will take place at the Pennfield Rural Cemetery at a later date. Visiting at the church on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. In Larry’s memory, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the Charlotte County Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
