LeBLANC, GLORIA - Gloria LeBlanc, 59, of Moncton, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at the Moncton Hospital. Born on February 3, 1954 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Hector and Dora (Cormier) DesRoches. Gloria worked in accounts receivable at Westmorland-Albert Solid Waste Management Corporation. She was a volunteer with the Moncton Beavers and the Dieppe Commandos hockey teams for 20 years as well as the Cara Helpline for 10 years. She is survived by two children: Denise Knockwood (Ryan Trites) and Marc D. LeBlanc (Amy), both of Moncton; two sisters: Pauline DesRoches (Jean-Claude Bellefeuille) of Moncton and Janette DesRoches (Luc Charbonneau) of Sherbrooke, QC; two brothers: Pierre DesRoches of Calgary and Michel DesRoches of Moncton; two grandchildren: Annabel Trites and Olivier LeBlanc; her former husband, Marcel H. LeBlanc of Moncton; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure (10:15). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix R.C. Church, 87 Murphy Avenue, Moncton on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
