It is with great sadness that the family of Anthony Ignatius Compagnon announce his passing on Wednesday, March 20th, 2013 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in his 88th year. Leaving to mourn his wife Mercedes (nee Duffy) at Mountain View House, Meadows; children: Frank (Bridgette), Corner Brook, Cecil (Adrianna), Smithville, ON, Sharon, Benoit’s Cove, Debbie (Abe), Benoit’s Cove, Darren (Mary), Benoit’s Cove and Audrey (Brian) Cambridge, ON; grandchildren: Connie, Natasha, Sheldon, Maurice, Tanya, Kathlynn, Chad, Dwayne, Leah, Josh, Devin and Megan; great grandchildren: Nikita, Zachary, Kennedi, Katherine and Arielle; sisters: Eileen, Romona and Muriel. Predeceased by his son Leslie; parents: William and Nora Compagnon (nee Hall); brothers: Ted, Loyola, Cecil and Leslie; sisters: Christina, Dorothy, Martina and Annie. There will be no Funeral Mass or visitation as per Anthony’s request. Donations can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
