ROBERTSON - Jason Guy Robertson, age 48, of Calgary, AB passed away February 27 at the Regina General Hospital. The Memorial Service was held at the Palliser Regional Care Centre South Solarium on Friday March 8, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Sharon Ferguson Hood officiating. Jason's favorite music was played during the service. A solo was performed by Michelle Baker. Life Tributes was presented by Cindy (Syd) Panagabko and Michelle Baker. The interment service will take place at a later date. Jason is survived his parents Marilyn and Jim; brothers Stacey and Lonny; grandmother Vera Malchow; aunts and uncles Marty and Karen Grand, Norma and Gordon Scott and several cousins. He was predeceased by his grand father Melvin Grand in 1963, grandmother Amy Grand in 2000 and grandfather Matt Robertson in 1985. Jason was born in Swift Current on April 26, 1964. He attended school in Regina and Pilot Butte and then High School in Balgonie. Jason then attended Hair College and graduated in 1984, going on to become a journeyman in hair styling and coloring. After working in Swift Current, then Calgary for a short time for other salons, he and a friend and business partner Michelle, started and operated "Riff Raff Hair Studio" in Calgary. Jason also started a supper club in Calgary. He enjoyed cooking, collecting art and antiques, painting, loved music and played the piano and keyboard, often composing his own music. He also loved watching thunderstorms and walking in the rain. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
