Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Thursday, March 28, 2013, Alec Stanley of George’s Brook, in his 80th year. Predeceased by his first wife Effie; parents Maxwell & Mary Ann. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Ella of 10 years; sons Terry (Diana), Scott (Dana) both of Labrador City; step son Freeman (Juanita) Dalton of Clarenville; six grandchildren Christopher (Julie), Patti, Amanda (Andrew), Meaghan (Andrew), Krystal (Derek), Chad; three great grandchildren, Tanner, Gracen, Samantha; sister Madge Bailey of George’s Brook and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service was held on Monday, April 1, 2013 at 2 pm from the United Church, Shoal Harbour with interment at the Milton-George’s Brook Cemetery. In his memory donations may be made to the United Church, Shoal Harbour.
