Peacefully, with her family by her side, Margaret Ann Harrison, 85, of Springhill, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013 in the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre. Born in Springhill, Margie was a daughter of the late Ewart and Frances (Faulkner) Venus.
Margie loved her family and she will be missed by all who knew her.
She leaves behind her sons, David (Heather) and Michael (Linda) both of Springhill; daughters, Debbie (Brian) Guthro, Bonnie (Bernard) St. Peter, Kathy (Keith) Dowe, Kim (Mike) MacPherson, all of Springhill; thirteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth (Doug) and Brenda (Salvador); a brother Bob (Thelma) and her long time friend, Glen Beaton of Cannan.
Besides her parents, Margie was predeceased by her husband Percy in 1977; her daughters, Judy Calder and Linda Snowden; one sister and three brothers.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and supervision of A. H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (597-2361). Visitation will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10:30 am on Wednesday. Interment to be held in the spring.
