Passed away at Grand Bank Health Care Centre on Wednesday, March 27th, 2013, Sarah Comben of Grand Bank, age 82 years. Predeceased by husband Wilfred, son Norman, granddaughter Vanessa, and brother Phil Cox, plus a large circle of brother-in-laws & sister-in-laws; Leaving to mourn: sons George(Barb), Keith(Donna), & daughter-in-law Ann. Brothers Garfield, Norman(Bessie), sisters Bessie Lawrence, Joyce Keeping, sister-in-law Hilda Cox, brother-in-law Bill Thornhill. 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, long- time friend Joyce Rogers, Homecare Workers; Joan Newport, Marie Blagdon, & Peggy Green, plus a large circle of neices, nephews & friends. Funeral Service was conducted by Majors Lyndon & Lisa Hale from the Salvation Army, Grand Bank at 11am on Saturday, March 30th, 2013. Interment followed at Salvation Army Cemetery, Grand Bank. Music was provided by the Salvation Army Band. Pall Bearers were: Wayne Lee, Alfred Harris, Max Cox, Lester Peach, Jack Cumben, Stan Trimm (Jr). Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Warren's Funeral Home, Grand Bank.
