With profound sadness, the family of Margaret Rebecca Stewart (Murray) Sutherland, announce her death on April 02, 2013.

Margaret was born in Lesmahagow, Scotland on July 18, 1924 and moved to Canada at the age of two. She spent her early years in Coalmont, B.C. and her teen years in Vancouver. Marg lived a very fulfilling and active life. She loved people and serving her God, Jehovah. Ten weeks before she passed away, as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, Marg attended Pioneer Service School where she was instructed on how to teach people the Bible. She was a very generous and caring person. Her greatest joy was her family and friends.

Marg was predeceased by her husband Jack, and daughters Heather and Rena.

She is survived by her son Frank (Susan) Sutherland, and daughters Marla (Garry) Twerdoclib, Pat (Ken) Giesbrecht, Roberta (Ray) Rei, Coreen Sutherland, Jacquie (Richard) Bernier, and son-in-law Ron Randall. Marg has 22 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held for Margaret at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1985 Curlew Road, Kamloops, B.C. at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 06, 2013.

We wish to express our gratitude to the nurses and staff of R.I.H. who treated our Mom with dignity and respect in her final days. We also wish to give a special thanks to Dr. Peter Loland who was so very compassionate in caring for our Mom.
