We, the family of James J. “Jimmy” MacKenzie would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to family and friends during our recent bereavement. Thank you to his many nieces and nephews who traveled from Boston and Halifax to be with us. Thank you to Fr. Abbass and Fr. Gerry Curry and the alter servers. Thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Cape Breton Regional and Northside General Hospital. A special thank you to the nurses at the Renal Dialysis Clinic at the Regional Hospital for being so kind to Jimmy over the years. To all the drivers who took Jimmy to and from Dialysis over the 3 years. To the Homecare workers, thank you, Jimmy always looked forward to seeing you all. Thank you to the pallbearers, the choir, and the ladies who served lunch at the Church and Hall. To Bill Curry and the your staff for your care, compassion and service, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
