Passed away peacefully away after a short illness at the L.A. Miller Centre, Frank Joseph Burke of Witless Bay, aged 89 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Stella (nee Tobin), son Frank and daughter in-law Mami Kubota. Predeceased by his brother John Burke and his sister Mary Tobin (nee Burke) as well as nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Frank was well loved and well respected and will be missed by all who knew him. Special thanks to the caring staff of St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital and the L.A. Miller Centre. Resting as Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Sunday, April 7th from 3-9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Patrick’s R.C. Church, Witless Bay on Monday, April 8th at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross R. C. Cemetery.
