Phyllis Grace (MacQuarrie) Blake - 82, of Wolfville, NS passed away on April 5, 2013. Born in Chester Basin on February 27, 1931 to John and Florence (Jarrett) Eldridge. Survived by husband, Kenneth Blake; sons, Kevin (Chris) MacQuarrie, Bruce MacQuarrie, Grant (Marcelle) MacQuarrie; daughter, Jane (Tony) Barkhouse; grandchildren, Catherine (Karl Marsters) MacQuarrie, Jennifer (Hughie Batherson) MacQuarrie, Allison (Colin) Cahoon, Eric MacQuarrie, Rebecca MacQuarrie, Alexander MacQuarrie, Jillian Barkhouse; great grandchildren, Madeline Marsters, Stella Cahoon, Angus Batherson; several nieces and nephews; sisters, Gladys McKean and Doris Cross. Predeceased by her first husband, Douglas MacQuarrie; sisters, Mary Osborne and Hattie Hatt. Cremation has taken place under the direction of White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. There was no visitation or funeral service by request. Interment will take place at a later date in the Western Shore Baptist Church Cemetery. Family and friends were invited to 38 Henry St., Kentville on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 from 2-4pm.
