It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elijah Pittman announce his passing on Monday, April 8th, 2013 at the Grand Falls Hospital in his 70th year. He will be sadly missed by his loving family. His wife Winnifred (nee Gillingham); children: Hazel (Francis) Loder, Leatrice, Hayward (Nora Dover), Scott (Lori- Ann), Tracey (Terry Dover), Trevor, Joan (Martin Dover); grand- children: Andy, Michael, Paul, Janice, Cynthia, Rebecca, Matthew, Travis, Dominic, Bianca, Jonah, Brooke, Emma and Ryker; two great grand- children: Paige and Zoey; also a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Hayward and Belinda, sister Mary, mother-and father-in-law Ethel & Edgar Gillingham, brother-in-law Ephriam Gillingham and son-in-law Abraham Ricketts. Visitation will take place from the Anglican Church in Jacksons Arm on Tuesday and Wednesday where also funeral service will take place on Thursday at 2:00pm. with interment to follow at the family plot.
