GIROUARD, ALEC - 1937 - 2013 - Alec Girouard, 76, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Saturday, April 6, 2013. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Jean and the late Bertha (Collette) Girouard. He will be sadly missed by his six sisters; Dora Arsenault of Cap-Pelé, Rose-Marie Larivière (Pierre) of Montréal, Anita Willem (Albert) of Ville LaSalle, Lydia Girouard (Charles Gauvreau), Alberta Beauchamps and Béatrice Girouard all of Lachine, QC, his five brothers; Claude of Bouctouche Bay, Clarence (Marguerite) Normand (Lola) both of Bouctouche, Aurèle (Anne-Marie) of Saint-Joseph de Kent, Rhéal (Nancy) of Gardner, Mass, and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by two brothers; Léo and Jean.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Friday, April 12th, 2013 from 2 to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Friday, April 12th, 2013 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery later in the spring.
