Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, April 6, 2013, George W. Hutchings of Harbour Grace, age 67 years. Predeceased by parents: Roland and Emma; parents-in-law: Carmen and Sadie Mullett; brothers: John, Roland and Edmund Saunders; brothers-in-law: Seward Noseworthy and Maurice Mullett; sister-in-law: Lotie Tarrant. Left to mourn, wife: Susan; three daughters: Sharon (Gary) Rose and Shelly Hutchings, both of Harbour Grace and Lori (Garry) Gosse, Spaniard’s Bay; five grandchildren: Trevor, Becky, Justin, Brooke and Luke; two sisters: Violet Noseworthy, Spaniard’s Bay and Gertie (Max) Menchions, Bishop’s Cove; sisters-in-law: Sarah (Bill) Nichols, Harbour Grace and Betty Mullett, Wesleyville; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Rev. Moses Tucker and Rev. Don Martin conducted the funeral service on Tuesday, April 9 at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace. Inurnment took place in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery on Thursday, April 11. Donations in his memory may be made to the George Hutchings Memorial Fund.
