It is with great sadness that the family of the late James McDonald announce his passing on Monday, April 9th, 2013 at the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 53. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his son Robert Hayes, special friends Glenda Hayes and Ralph Ball, step aunt Doris White, aunts and uncles: Bonnie (Roy) Gaudon, Ellen (John) Heffler, Bob (Mary) McDonald, Ronald (Margaret) McDoanld, Dino Tagliapietra, Martha McDonald, Nancy McDonald, Barbara McDonald, and Rita McDonald as well as a large circle of cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Belle and James McDonald, aunts and uncles: Tom (Pauline) Healey, Patty (Mary) Healey, Margaret (Ray) Kennedy, Mary (Henry) Pilgrim, Eileen (Ralph) Ball, Florence Healey, Donna (Tom) O’Brien, Margurete (James) Duffy, Marie Tagliapietra, Madonna (Greg) Gaudon, Terrance McDonald, Aloysius (Arabella) McDonald, Richard McDonald, Michael McDonald, Andrew McDonald and Jerry McDonald. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Wednesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., the funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 11th at 11 a.m. from the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Deer Lake with Mon. Jim Robertson officiating, interment to follow at the Deer Lake Interdenomational Cemetery Wight’s Road. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Palliative Care Unit.
