KNUDSON, STEVEN DOUGLAS - It is with great sadness the family announce the unexpected death of Steven Knudson, who passed away on April 8th, 2013. Born in Saint John in 1958, he was the son of Shirley Gaudet and the late Joseph Knudson. Steven was an Educational Assistant at Rothesay Park School for the past 15 years. He took great pride in tutoring and engaging his students in various sports, his favourite was track & field. He loved playing golf and softball and watching the Boston Bruins win the cup. Steven is survived by his beloved children Amanda Knudson (Ryan Neil) of Saint John, Nicole Knudson of Edmonton, and Stevi Dawn Knudson of Saint John; mother Shirley Gaudet; brothers Donnie (Chrissy), David, John (Karen) and Michael (Christa) all of Saint John; sisters Donna (Tim) Dyker of Hampton and Linda (Bob) Paul of Lincoln; cherished granddaughter Ella and best friend Sandra Watson. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and good friends. Steven was a very patient and well-loved man.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Thursday, April 11 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. A memorial service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, April 12 at 1 P.M. Donations in his memory can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
