Passed away at the Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia on April 8, 2013 Mrs. Ellen Whiffen age 93 of Fox Harbour, Placentia. Bay. Predeceased by her husband Maurice; daughters: Martha and Annie and son Joe. She leaves to mourn daughters: Betty Griffin (Ed), Deanie Pittman (Mike); sons: John (Maureen), Ben (Theresa), Andy (Joan) and Wish (Kathleen); daughter-in-law Kathleen; son-in-law Jack; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; also a large circle of other relatives and friends.
