We, the family of the late George Barrett express sincere thanks and appreciation for the support given during Dad's illness. Your presence, gentle hugs and kind words helped carry us through this sad time. To all who brought food to our homes, called, sent on-line condolences, memorials, monetary donations, flowers and cards our heartfelt thanks. Thank you to all physicians and nurses of Palliative Care, VON and his family physician and friend, Dr. David Ley. Your care and compassion allowed Dad to remain at home. To Rev Vernon Reid, your friendship was a blessing and the funeral service was very special. To all who participated in the funeral and to the pallbearers our heartfelt gratitude. Appreciation is extended to the funeral committee for providing the lunch. St. Mary's Church meant so much to Dad. To Dad's sister Verda and brothers Bill, Ken and Duck your love and support will never be forgotten. To Wilma, thank you for always being there for us and Dad throughout his illness. To Diane, you were a comfort to us at this sad time. Our gratitude is extended to family friends, Jean and Leah for taking care of our home during the wake. Thank you to Shirley and Philip for coming home to be with us. Your love and support was greatly appreciated. To Patten Funeral home, thank you for your compassion and utmost professionalism.
