At the South Shore Villa on Monday, April 8, 2013, of Leila Louise "Bea" MacFarlane of Crapaud, formerly of North Tryon, age 93 years.
Beloved wife of the late Gordon MacFarlane. Dear mother of Ralph (Geri Arsenault) Dawson. Survived by grandchildren, Donald Dawson, Heather (Kent) Quigley, Stephen (Lisa) Dawson, Doug (Laurie LeClair) Dawson; great-grandchildren, Brittany Dawson, Kyle, Ryan and Chad Quigley, Hailey and Maddy Dawson, Beau Dawson, Parker LeClair; and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by daughter, Shirley Ann, in infancy; brother, Jackie; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Mildred "Toots" (Fred) Mitchell and Doris (Harold) Harvey.
No visitation by personal request. A grave side service will be held at Cape Traverse Church of Scotland Cemetery, Saturday, April 13, at 10:30 a.m.
If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Tryon Baptist Church or Church of Scotland Cemetery Fund.
