BROWN, M. ALICE - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Alice Brown which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, April 10th, 2013. Born 1925, in Wirral, NB, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Marion Monahan. Alice worked as a Real Estate Agent for many years. She enjoyed playing cards with friends, her years of real estate, family camping, being a den mother to her many tenants as well as spending time with her family and friends. Alice is survived by her sons Wayne (Suzanne) of Musquodoboit Harbour, NS, Hazen of Saint John, Lawrence of San Francisco, CA, David (Patricia) of Saint John; sister Sister Ruth Monahan of Saint John, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. Besides her parents, Alice was predeceased by her husband Carl, sisters Anne, Patricia, Eunice; brothers Arthur and John.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Sunday, April 14th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Stella Maris Catholic Church on Monday, April 15th at 12 noon followed by an interment at St. Joseph’s cemetery.
