At Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, of Blanche England RN, Summerside, formerly of Ellerslie, aged 92, wife of the late Winston Alfred England. Born in South Kildare Dec. 7, 1920, daughter of the late Hunter and Bessie (Cail) Weeks. Dear stepmother to Ernestine (Rendell) Hillier, Toronto, Ont., and Ernestine England, Summerside. Loving grandmother to Tara England, Tyler England, Scott Hillier, and Paul Hillier. Blanche is also survived by her sister Anna Morris (late Harvey), Summerside. Predeceased by her parents, husband, stepson Ronald England, brothers and sisters Frank Weeks, Clair Weeks, Jean Campbell, Freda (Molly) Weeks, Byron Weeks and Muriel "Babe" Defosse.
Funeral service Friday, April 12, at 11 a.m. at St. John's Anglican Church, Ellerslie. Interment to follow in St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery, Ellerslie. In memory of Blanche, memorials to the St. John's Anglican Church Building Fund, Stewart Memorial Hospital Foundation or to the Alzheimer Society of PEI would be appreciated.
