1926-2013
At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, of Anita Marie (Mary) Arsenault of Charlottetown, age 87 years.
Born at Nail Pond, P.E.I., on March 23, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Alphy and Dorothy (nee Arsenault) Arsenault. She is survived by her siblings: Betty (late Edgar) Gallant of Tignish; Fred (Lisa) of Midland, Ont.; George (Nelda) of Nail Pond; Phillip (Josephine) of Nail Pond; Johnny of Toronto; and Victor (Annie) of Crapaud. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews and by sisters-in-law: Jean Firth, Eileen Arsenault and Millie Arsenault.
She was predeceased by siblings: Guillaume (late Annie and late Fedora), Mary (late Edgar) Peters, Eddie, Cyril, Uldric, Andrew and Anne Marie (late Gerard) LeClair.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. No visitation by personal request. A funeral mass to be celebrated at St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, on Thursday, April 18, 2013, at 2 p.m., Rev. Albin Arsenault celebrant. Interment of cremains to take place in the church cemetery.
