Joe Kelly was a man who made you feel optimistic, an inspiration to many, and made people feel like they could conquer anything. Joe was a people person, kind, thoughtful, a genuine giving guy.

Joe will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and will be fondly remembered, particularly for his affability, his keen sense of humour, and his outstanding athletic achievements.

Even in death, Joe was there to extend a helping hand to others through the Organ Donor Programme.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Laura, daughters Jenn (Mike), Kerry (Jeff), grandchildren Navin, Felicity, Myles, Mason and Blake, mother Teresa Kelly, siblings Patricia (Glenn), Mike (Micheala), mother-in-law Beryl Bremner and brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by daughter Sarah Kelly, father G. Kelly, father-in-law L. Bremner.

A Memorial Service for Joe will take place at the Sacred Heart Cathedral on Saturday, April 20th at 2:00 p.m.

Following the service, the Kelly family, would like his many friends and aquaintances to join them at the Family Y to remember Joe as he would have wished; viewing pictures, sharing stories, and listening to some of his favourite songs.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
