Neil, 65 years old, passed away April 13, 2013 after a brave battle with cancer.

Neil is survived by his loyal partner Patricia Hartley, his loving children Jeremy and Leah Treleaven, his grandchildren Mila and Hannah (Krahn) Treleaven, his brothers Dale, Lorne and Lance Treleaven, and his best buddy Ankles.

Formerly of Barriere, BC, formerly of Abbotsford, BC, born in Medicine Hat, Alberta on December 19th, 1947. Neil was a life-long outdoorsman and avid fly fisherman. He was a mechanic, machinist, woodworker and craftsman. A talented maker of all things and someone never too busy to help out a friend. Neil was a strong fighter for the causes he believed in and for the people he loved, a loyal NDP man and advocate for the working class. He was a man of large heart who will be deeply missed by many. It should be known that Neil fought bravely in his last days, placing his care for his family before his own comfort and doing everything he could to look after those he loved.

For all who have known and loved Neil, he did not want his passing to sit heavily on our hearts. His wishes were for his life to be celebrated informally, with cheer and good humour as we remember the good times.
