James "Keith" Champion

1926-2013
The family of Keith Champion, of Riverview, N.B., are sad to announce his passing peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on April 19, 2013 with his family by his side.
Born in Irishtown, P.E.I., he was the son of the late Ellwin and Ethel (Campbell) Champion. Prior to retirement, Keith was employed with the Department of Transport for 40 years. In his younger years, Keith enjoyed hunting and fishing in P.E.I. and continued to relive and enjoy those memories through his sons and grandson.
He will forever be in the hearts of his loving wife of 66 years, Ada M. (Robertson); daughter, Susan (Reid) Wilson; sons, Alan (Janette) and Carl (Karen); grandchildren, Krista, Jeff, Jared, Jill, Kelsie and Scott; great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Ty, Jake, Zander and Scarlett. Besides his parents, Keith was predeceased by a brother, Clare, and sisters, Baden, Rita and Mildred.
In honoring Keith's wishes, there will be no visitation. A private family service will be held at Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007) with the interment to follow in People's Cemetery, P.E.I.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to The Friends of Moncton Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.
Online condolences may be expressed at www.cobbsfuneralhome.ca.
The family is grateful for the professional care and attention given to Keith during his extended stay on the 4th floor of The Moncton Hospital.
