PALMER, MILDRED (MILLIE) - Mildred Palmer of Moncton passed away peacefully on April 18, 2013 at The Moncton Hospital in her 90th year. She was an active bowler right up until her last year, and she took great joy in her knitting. Millie will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Sandra Dow (Moncton), Linda (Ken) Pearson (Kintore, ON), and Louise (Derek) Lennon (Perth Andover, NB); her grandchildren, Matthew (Tamara) Klem, Drew (Abby) Pearson, Marnie (Danny) Holloway, Todd Pearson, Darcy Lennon, Chelsea Lennon, and Colin Lennon; her great-grandchildren, Dylan and Megan Klem, Grace Holloway and Brett Pearson. Millie was predeceased by her parents, Elmer and Margaret (Treen) Smith; her husband, Elwood Palmer and several siblings. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of The Moncton Hospital and Jordan Life Care Center and Fair Haven Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home, on Sunday evening April 21st, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A memorial service celebrating Millie’s life will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Monday, April 22 at 3:00 pm, Rev. Mary MacPherson officiating.
