Leona was the daughter of the late Joseph V. and Mary MacCormac (Campbell) of St. Margaret's. Sister of Clifford (Mary) MacCormac, Souris, Frances (Jim) Mooney, Charlottetown, Angus (Helen) MacCormac, Toronto, and Phyllis (Dan) Miller, Charlotteotown. Sister-in-law to George Villard, Janice, Angela, Jennifer MacCormac and Charlena Conway. Special sister to patients and staff of Unit 7. Predeceased by Elizabeth and Reggie Mooney, Eileen Villard, Daniel, Colin, Owen, Ida, Vernon and Michael MacCormac. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation at Dingwell's Funeral Home Sunday, April 21, from 3-5 p.m. Funeral to be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Margaret’s Roman Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the St. Margaret's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Unit 7 Hillsborough Hospital.
