BLANCHARD, JONI ANN - It is with great sadness that the family of Joni Blanchard announces her death at Oromocto Public Hospital on April 21, 2013. Born in Calgary, AB on July 15, 1963, she was the wife of David Blanchard and proud mother of Josh and Alyssa. In addition to her husband and children, Joni leaves behind her mother, Sandy (Cecil) French; sisters, Lori (Rob) de Beaudrap, Tami (Danny) Smith and Teri (Wade) Stinson; brother-in-law, James (Lauren) Blanchard; sister-in-law, Andrea (David) Sarsfield; nieces, Alix (Greg) and Hayley de Beaudrap, Cassandra Stinson, Julie and Kate Blanchard, and Beth Sleeman; nephews, Garrett (Ashley) de Beaudrap, Jake Stinson, and Riley and Liam Sarsfield. Joni was predeceased by her father, Reginald Rust. Joni was born and raised in Calgary, AB. She worked for Scotia Bank for 25 years, the last 10 of which were in Oromocto with two years in Ottawa.
A memorial gathering will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home, 108 Winnebago St., on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 from 1 to 5 pm.
