Passed peacefully away at the Dr. L.A. Miller Center on Sunday, April 21, 2013, Olive Lillian Mercer (nee Bursell), aged 86 years. Predeceased by her husband George, 1980; parents Sydney and Janet Bursell; sister Violet Ebsary; brothers: Sydney, Fred and Harry Bursell; special niece Sandra Ralph. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Kathy Carver (Brian) from Indiana, USA; grandchildren: Sara Lindberg (Greg), Brian Carver and Aaron Carver all of Indiana, USA; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. Funeral service to be held from The Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Craigmillar Avenue, on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at The Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
