
Blanche Mousseau
MOUSSEAU, Blanche (nee Marshall) – Millbrook First Nation, passed away peacefully and quietly on Sunday, April 21, 2013. Blanche was 67 years old. She was a daughter of the late Charlie and Rachel Marshall of Millbrook. Predeceased by her loving husband Richard Mousseau; by her siblings; Theresa, Nora, Mary and Davie. She leaves behind her loving children Darren, Pauline and Amy (Victor). Her grandchildren; DenRick, Payton, Dylan, Gabrielle, Darren and Dustin will cherish her always. Also survived by brothers Fred and Stevie and sisters Trudy (Bob) and Florence. As well many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Blanche will be deeply missed forever. Blanche was a larger than life, rare person who loved a good debate, her Timmies and laughing out loud. Her caring spirit made this earth a better place and she will be missed. She will be remembered for her feistiness and her passion for sharing her knowledge of the traditional teachings and ways of her people. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro on Tuesday April 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., also where a traditional ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 25.
