Laurice Marie MacKenzie , 77 of Stratford, P.E.I. was granted her angel wings on Saturday, February 13, 2010. Her final days following a stroke were spent surrounded by family and friends. Laurice will be dearly missed by her husband Neil, her children James (Lynne) Hea and Sandra Hea, her grandchildren Angela (Tom) Medland and Sarah Hea, her beautiful great grandson Jackson Medland, her siblings Arnold (Jeanine) Hannough, Norma Hannouch, Joan (Eric) Smith and their families. The family would like to express our sincere appreciation to the staff of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Dr. White for their loving care. A funeral service was held on Monday at the Hennessey Funeral Home. If so desired memorial donations in her honor may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.
