HATHEWAY, JOHN - 1937 - 2013 - John Hatheway, 75, of Clifton passed away on Monday, April 22, 2013 at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax, with his special friend Michelle Boulet at his side. Born in Saint John, N.B. he was the son of the late Clarence Murray and Doris (Knowles) Hatheway. He is survived by two sons: Dale (Liz) of North Bay, Ont., Timothy (Tracy) of Trenton, Ont.; six grandchildren: Mitchell (Amber Gimblet) and D.J. Hatheway, Sean and Jordyn Valliquette, Jamie Lynn and Ryan Hatheway; three great-grandchildren: Eli, Aalyia and Theo; one sister, Linda Wortman of Moncton; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Anita (Robinson) in 2007 and a daughter, Tanya Lynn "Tammy" Valiquette.
A memorial service will be held at a later date from the Christ Church Anglican in Clifton. Donations in memory of John may be made to the Christ Church or the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com).
