Marcella Mary Besaw, beloved wife and loving mother, passed away peacefully at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, aged 56 years. Born in Gallants, NL, daughter of the late John T. Bennett and late Annie Jane (Hilliard) Bennett, she leaves to mourn her loving husband, Bernard Besaw and son, Craig Besaw; sisters: Jacqueline (Harvey) Hilliard and Judy Reny; brothers: John (Colette) Bennett and Roderick (Debbie) Bennett; mother-in-law, Mary Besaw; sisters-in-law: Cecilia (Eric) Smith, Rosie (Mike) Rex, Sharon (Chris) Lambert, Marie Hall; brothers-in-law: Gerard (Karla Selig) Besaw, John (Mary LaFitte) Besaw, Norman (Debbie) Besaw, Percy (Pat) Besaw and Pius (Diana) Besaw and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Danny Reny and father-in-law, Norman Besaw. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Friday, February 19th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville.
