Passed peacefully away after a very short illness surrounded by her loving family at HSC, Mary Theresa Mackey, age 79. Mary is predeceased by husband James, daughter Donna Mackey Greaves, and daughter-in-law Carol Ann (Lacey) Mackey. Left to mourn with precious memories, daughters: Cindy Devereaux (Jim), Gail Bussey (Len), Rhonda, Cathy Smith (Ches) who she resided with for this past six years; sons: Richard (Carol Ann, deceased), James Jr. (Dawn); son-in-law Keith Greaves; sixteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Agnes Ford; brother, Maurice (Ruby). Also, Joan Sinnott, Beth Frampton, Edna De Vellis (Robert), David Mackey, Thelma Alcock. Special mention of her bingo buddies at Cowan Plaza. Also, a very special thank you to Sister Delarosa and the medical team of 4 South A and the Dialysis Unit at the HSC, you were not just her doctors and nurses, you became her friends. Upon Mary’s request, cremation has taken place. Visitation for a celebration of Mary’s life will take place at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, Monday, April 29, 2013 from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Service from Caul’s Chapel on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 11 a.m. Flowers greatly appreciated or donations in her memory to the Kidney Foundation.
