Mrs. Emma Frances 'Scoop' MacDonald
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Emma Frances MacDonald ‘Scoop’.
She was 93-years old and passed away peacefully while holding the hand of one of her granddaughters (who is a Registered Nurse) that took exceptional care of her Nana (along with her wonderful sister who was also an RN and came up to T.O. from Cape Breton to ensure the very best of care).
“Ma” is survived by 15 children, Beverly, David, Linda, Bernadette, Johnny, Francis, Whitney, Catherine, Lillian, Billy, Wally, Cecilia, Theresa, Paulette and Madeline (Diddy); and was predeceased by her son Joseph and her first born baby who passed away two days after birth (also named Joseph).
“Nana” was also the very proud grandmother/great-grandmother of approximately 60 beautiful children.
Funeral Services were held over the past weekend at Ridley Funeral Home, Lakeshore and 14th Street in Toronto, Ont.
