MARR, DORIS - With sadness the family announces the passing of Doris Patricia (Scoville) Marr which occurred on Monday, April 29, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1943 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Aaron and Marion (Dole) Scoville. Devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Doris always put the needs of others before her own. She loved spending time with her family and her loving canine companions and was a collector of angels. She is survived by her loving husband, Cecil; sons, Steven and Randy; daughters, Susan (Pat) and Lisa (Rod); brothers, Murray (Shirley), Ronnie (Barb), Bill (Jana), Wayne (Vicki) and Jeffery; sisters, Betty (Bill) Fillmore, Rita (Reg) Cosman, Linda (Art) Nurse and Donna; five grandsons; and four granddaughters. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Thelma Zwicker; father and mother-in-law, Cecil and Mary Marr; nephews, Kevin Gregg and Billy Scoville Jr.; and infant niece, Samantha Scoville.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). By request there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 11:00 am.
