It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved wife and dear mother at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, on May 2nd, 2013, age 84 years. Predeceased by her parents Edmund and Katherine Chaffey, brothers Harold and Jack. Leaving to mourn her husband Harvey; daughters: Betty, Linda, Daphne (Randy) Randell, Judy (Perry) Neary and Heather; sons: Harvey Jr. (Patsy), David, Gordon, Wayne (Delories); sister Violet Diamond; sister-in-law Sadie Chaffey; niece Betty Lovys; brother-in-law Nathan Sheppard; cousin Walter Chaffey (Phyllis); 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and special friend Betty Way. A special thank you to the Dialysis Unit at Waterford Hospital. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mount Pearl on Saturday May 4th, from 2 p.m. -4 p.m. and 7 p.m. -9 p.m., on Sunday May 5th, from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. -9 p.m. Funeral service to be held 11 a.m. on Monday, May 6th, 2013, from Barrett’s Chapel. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Rd.
