DAVIES JR., SAMUAL THOMAS - The passing of Samual Thomas Davies Jr., of Stanley, occurred on Friday, May 3, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on February 18, 1928 in Wales, he was a son of the late Samual and Alice (Evans) Davies. Samual worked in the woods since the age of 12. He loved horses. Samual is survived by his sons, David and Brian (Tracy) Davies; six grandchildren; sister, Nancy Scott; brothers, Winsor and Leslie (Barbara) Davies and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Terry Davies; sister, Flora Davies and brothers, John and Cyril Davies.
There will be no services by request. A Private Graveside Service will be held at St. Thomas Anglican Church Cemetery, Stanley. For those who wish, donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
