Stephen Joseph MacDonald, 62, Toronto, Ont., passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on May 1, 2013.
He was the son of Mary MacDonald, Sydney and the late Webb MacDonald.
Besides his mother, he is survived by sisters, Jean McKee (Bill), Seattle, Marian MacKenzie (Tom), Fox Point, N.S.; brother, Peter, Vancouver, B.C.; nephews, Luke (Cynthia) and Sam; nieces, Jenna (Nic) and Kathleen and grandniece, Claire. He also leaves behind his best friend, Paul Hackney, Toronto.
Stephen graduated from St. Mary's University and the University of Toronto. He worked many years in Halifax and Toronto.
No service by request. A private family burial will take place in June.
