Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, May 3, 2013, Eva M. Ash, of Victoria, age 93 years. Predeceased by husband Baden; parents: Francis and Cecelia Collins; five sisters and four brothers. Leaving to mourn, daughter Patricia (Kermit) Bragg, Victoria; three granddaughters: Michelle (Shawn), Dana and Jo-Lynn (Kirk); six great-grandchildren: Brandon, Noah, Kyle, Maria, Logan and Mason; brothers-in-law: Wilfred Ash, California and Isaac Caravan, Nova Scotia; special niece Joan (Clinton) Peterson, Colorado; special nephew John (Stella) Baxtrom, Tilton; special friend and caregiver Debbie Penney, Salmon Cove; also a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Carbonear on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, May 5 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Victoria. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Victoria.
