It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Ellen Marie Napoleon on Wednesday May 1, 2013 at home.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Margaret (Hart) Jessome. She was a member of St. Anthony Church. Ellen enjoyed playing bingo, picking blueberries and also loved her animals along with her family and friends.
Surviving are her daughter, Margaret; sons, John Marr, Gordon Marr, John Napoleon, all of Glace Bay. She also survived by 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren
Predeceased by parents and husband, John Napoleon, also by two twin boys infancy.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Patten Funeral Home, 71 Union St., Glace Bay on Monday, May 5 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. with Fr. Norman MacPhee officiating. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery. No flowers at family request.
