FLOYD, BRIDGETTE ANNE - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Bridgette Anne Floyd which occurred at Bobby's Hospice on Saturday, May 4, 2013. Born 1948 in Dalhousie, NB, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Opal O'Brien. Anne enjoyed playing bingo and knitting. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Anne will be greatly missed by her loving husband, David of 43 years; daughters, Rachel Floyd (Ross Bent) of Lepreau, Nancy Pawson (Dave) of Eastern Passage, NS, Catherine LeBlanc (Jeff) of Oromocto, NB; brothers, Ludger of Saint John, Pius of Jacquet River, NB, Terry of Sunnyside, NB, George of Lorne, NB, Jim Godin (Ginnie) of Vernon, BC; sisters, Dell (Lorne) of Montreal, Yvonne Kaufman (Bob) of Ohio; grandchildren, Alex and Kyle Bent, Matthew and Tyler May, Kayleigh Bell, Evan and Noah LeBlanc; special aunt, Eva Godin and family; as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother, Carl; and infant sister, Simone.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Following cremation, a memorial service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Tuesday, May 7 at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place at a later date.
